Become a Volunteer at CNPS!
At CNPS, we believe in the strength of community engagement to enrich our students' learning experiences. We welcome parents, guardians, and community members to join our vibrant team of volunteers and make a meaningful difference in our school environment.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering at CNPS allows you to:
- Support Student Learning: Assist with classroom activities, literacy and numeracy programs, and special events.
- Enhance Our School: Contribute to grounds maintenance, beautification projects, and the Coburg Crop.
- Engage in Excursions: Support students on educational trips, camps, and excursions, creating memorable experiences.
How to Get Involved
1. Express Interest: Look out for our Compass post in weeks 2-4 of the school year to fill out a short survey indicating your areas of interest and availability.
2. Attend a Workshop: Participate in a workshop and induction session to prepare for your volunteer role.
3. Complete Documentation: Ensure you have a valid Working with Children’s Check and have signed the necessary induction checklists.
Our Commitment to Safety
We are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for our students. All volunteers are required to undergo suitability checks, including a Working with Children Clearance, and participate in child safety training and inductions as outlined in our volunteer policy here.
Your Impact
Volunteers are integral to fostering a supportive and dynamic school community. Your time and efforts directly contribute to enhancing our educational environment and supporting our students’ growth and well-being.
