Cucumber - Lemon
Heirloom variety known in North America since the late 1800s. Named for its appearance, not flavour, this ripens to yellow and the size of a large lemon. Produces plenty of fruit and is more cold tolerant than some other cucumber varieties. Cucumber plants are susceptible to powdery mildew. Planting in full sun, training plants to climb, and not allowing leaves to remain wet after sundown can help prevent infestation.
