Parents as Partners in Learning
At Coburg North Primary School, we believe that learning is a partnership between the school, parents, and the community. We empower parents to actively participate in their child’s learning journey through a range of initiatives and opportunities for involvement.
Weekly Class Updates
Each week, parents will receive a Class Update message through Compass, detailing what students are learning. This helps you stay informed and engaged with the learning happening in your child’s classroom, so you can reinforce key concepts and skills at home. Opportunities to Get Involved
Join our active Parents and Friends Committee to connect with other parents and help support various school initiatives. _(Leave space for a link to the Parents and Friends Committee page)_
You can also make a difference by volunteering your time to help in classrooms or assist with maintaining our school buildings and grounds. Your involvement directly contributes to creating a positive learning environment. _(Leave space for a link to the volunteer page)_ |
Workshops for Parents
We offer a range of workshops designed to support parents in understanding and enhancing their children’s learning experiences. These workshops cover various topics, including literacy, numeracy, social and emotional learning, and how to support learning at home. Your involvement, whether through workshops, weekly updates, or volunteering, helps to create a supportive and enriching environment for all our students. We invite you to be an active partner in shaping your child’s educational experience and making CNPS an even better place to learn and grow.
Together, we can inspire a love of learning and build a stronger, more connected school community.
