We have made it to the end of another school year. Overall it has been a very successful and productive year at Coburg North Primary.
A lot of time and energy has gone into the design and planning for the building project in 2018. We are hopeful that a builder will be appointed soon and construction can commence in early 2018.
The involvement of many parents and volunteers across the school year has supported the staff to work with your children and reaching the best outcomes for the students. We had a morning tea this week to thank these people for their ongoing support. For those who were unable to attend this morning tea I would like to thank you on behalf of the staff, the children and the community for the support you so willingly provide.
I would also to publicly thank my staff who it has been a privilege to work with. In my day I fancied myself as a good teacher, but I fear I do not compare with the expertise and creativity of the staff at Coburg North. You are lucky to have them so please look after them.
Thank you for the many good-byes and lovely presents I have received from families in my final weeks at the school. Coburg North Primary School is a very special community that I will miss very much. Over the past 11 years I have privileged to get to know many families and be included in their lives.
Good-bye and good luck to Coburg North Primary.
