Parents and Friend's News

Thank you, thank you

To everyone who has baked, grilled, served, poured, organised, corralled, cajoled, crafted and grafted throughout the year to help with the many Parents & Friends’ fundraising events, we thank you! Without the help of all the help of the school community, P&F events simply would not achieve the success and raise the funds that they do. At the risk of missing someone, and with far too many people to name here, we say thanks. As former AFL coaching great Allan Jeans used to say: “They know who they are.”

Christmas stall

The annual Christmas stall will be held on the morning of next Friday, December 15, with the usual range of handmade Christmas and holiday crafts as well as enough food and baked goods. For anyone interested in helping out with either items or working of the stall on the day, please contact Amanda Gordon-Lee at

Carols night

Don’t forget the school’s Carols Night on next Wednesday, December 13.. And to make the event even more enjoyable, our friends from the Vagabond Coffee van will be there to provide the Yule fuel. It all kicks off from 5.30pm.

Farmers’ Market thank yous

Thank you to the parents from 1A and 1B(and others) who helped out at the Farmers’ Market on November 25. A big thank you to Sue Giles with Emily, Lucas with Sebastian, Will, Sally and Phil with kids Thomas and Hildi, Sian with Thomas, Jason with Jed, Fiona with Luka, Benjy Lee and the tireless Matt Abbott. Thanks everyone. Your help is, as always greatly appreciated. Tomorrow’s school stall will be the last for 2017. The market itself will continue each Saturday as normal, taking a break only on January 30.
