National Bandanna Day – Friday 27th October

National Bandanna Day is CanTeen’s largest fundraiser and aims to raise $1.3 million this year to support young people living with cancer. This year, Coburg North Primary School will to celebrate National Bandanna Day, on Friday the 27th October.

Bandannas play a significant role as a symbol of hope and empowerment for people who are affected by cancer, and are worn during their cancer journey. Throughout the week, colourful and patterned bandannas will be sold outside of Stephanie and Laura’s room for $5.00 each. Money raised will help CanTeen provide both practical and emotional support for young people living with cancer and their families.
